Free Range Milk
Taste Something Special
Taste Something Special
We are a farming family from Bangor, County Down and we are looking forward to welcoming you to Ballycrochan Artisan to taste our free range milk and milkshakes.
You can see our black and white cows grazing in lush fields of grass for most of the year. What makes their milk special is that it is gently pasteurised in small batches on the farm to preserve its natural flavour and goodness.
This method allows some cream to rise to the top of the bottle, just like your granny remembers! You can enjoy it as a treat on the first pour or shake the bottle.
Ballycrochan Artisan milk tastes great in coffee and hot chocolate too so go on, try a little moo with your brew!
Noah Drumgoole, 11 years old from Bangor explains!
1. Open the door and insert uncapped 500ml / 1 litre bottle
2. Select milk / milkshake option
3. Watch the bottle fill
4. Open door, remove and add the lid
5. Give machine time to self-wash before inserting next bottle
6. Enjoy!
Please remember to wash bottles in warm, soapy water before reuse.
Try some free range milk from the Ballycrochan Herd. You can have it as nature intended or add a bit of 'va va moo' with delicious flavourings like strawberry, chocolate, banana, salted caramel and vanilla.
If you fancy a pick me up why don't you try one of our delicious coffees? Roasted in Carrowdore, we have a range of rich, mellow and smooth coffees from Espresso 38 to suit everyone's taste.
Try our locally sourced produce from Simple Simon, Whisk and Spoon and Pottsden Pizza! We've got the perfect accompaniment to a hot cup of coffee. Our fresh, baked goods include caramel squares, brownies, cupcakes, cakes and sausage rolls.
You are supporting a local, farming family.
The milk has a special, natural flavour because of the gentle way in which it is pasteurised.
Milk vending allows you to purchase the freshest milk possible, direct from the farm gate.
Our glass bottles encourage recycling, reducing plastic use to help reduce our carbon footprint.
Our cows get to enjoy being outdoors for most of the year.
We are Red Tractor certified which means that the milk is traceable, safe and farmed with care.
